Qualification:
Candidates interested in
applying for the CSIR NET 2024 exam must meet the following eligibility
criteria:
Applicants must hold a
Master’s Degree in the Relevant Subject with at least 55% Marks. Reserved
categories require 50% marks.
BSc (Hons) degree holders
with at least 55% marks are also eligible.
Those enrolled in
MSc/Be/B.Tech/BPharma/MBBS programs are eligible to apply.
Candidates with only a
Bachelor’s degree are eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) only, not
Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor.

CSIR NET 2024:
The CSIR NET 2024 exam will
consist of two parts:
Part A: Common to all
subjects (30 marks) - 75 questions, 100 marks
Part B: Subject-specific
(Each part carries 100 marks) - 75 questions, 100 marks
The exam will have a total
of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a duration of 180 minutes. For
each correct answer, candidates will be awarded +2 marks, and for every wrong
answer, -0.5 marks (Negative Marking) will be deducted.
