Educational Qualification:

General DR: Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade.

DEPR: Master’s Degree in Economics/ Econometrics/ Quantitative Economics/ Mathematical Economics/ Integrated Economics Course/ Finance with a minimum of 55% marks.

DSIM: Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics or related fields with at least 55% marks.


Selection Process:

The selection process for RBI Grade B involves three stages:

Phase I: Preliminary online examination testing general awareness, quantitative aptitude, English language, and reasoning.

Phase II: Consists of three papers; Economic and Social Issues, English (Writing Skills), and Finance & Management.

Interview: Candidates who clear Phase II are called for an Interview.

200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks, covering English Language, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.

Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer.

Phase II:

Three papers, each carrying 100 marks.

Duration: 90 minutes for each paper.
